The tray is one of the main components of a plate tower, which is a component for achieving heat and mass transfer. The tray is composed of a tray, downcomer, overflow weir, fasteners, and supports.

The tray is the main component in a plate type tower that provides a place for gas-liquid mass transfer and heat transfer. Close exchange of heat and mass between two fluids to achieve the separation of liquid or gas mixture components. It mainly consists of gas-liquid contact components (such as float valves, bubble caps, sieve holes, etc.), receiving trays, overflow weirs, downcomers (or downcomers), tray supports, and fasteners. When the diameter of the tower is small, each layer of the tower tray is called a block type tower tray.

Bubble tray

It mainly consists of bubble cover, riser, connecting bolts, nuts, and washer components. The processed stainless steel cover is the main component of the blister tray. There are two types of circular blisters and strip blisters. At present, the main use is a circular lid, which is shaped like a bell shaped jar. There are many teeth on the cap wall, with shapes of rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids.

There is a riser in the lid that is used to create a rotating space between the lid and the riser. The gas lift tube is fixed on the tray, and the gas phase enters the rotating space through the gas lift tube. It sprays out from the tooth gap at a certain discharge speed, forming bubble contact with the liquid on the tray, and conducting mass transfer process.

Float valve tray:

The float valve tray/plate is the main component in the plate tower. Float valve tower is a new tower type developed in the 1950s, characterized by the installation of a movable valve plate at each sieve hole on the basis of a sieve plate tower. When the gas velocity of the sieve hole is high, the valve plate is lifted up, and when the airspeed is low, the valve plate drops due to its own weight.

3. Large processing capacity, 20%~40% higher than the bubble cap tray;

Sieve tray
The sieve tray is the main component structure inside the plate tower, including the tray, downcomer, overflow weir, various forms of valves, fasteners, and supporting components of the tray type. Its design is to meet the process requirements of distillation, reaction, and separation.

Fixed valve tray
Fixed valve tray consists of accessories such as downcomer plate, receiving tray, support parts, clip connectors, etc. The solid valve on the tray is generally directly stamped, although the structure is different, its main function is to prevent the gas rising under the shaped tray from directly impacting the liquid flowing towards the tray, and to make the rising gas disperse horizontally into the liquid along the tray surface after passing through the solid valve, in order to increase the gas-liquid contact time.
