Corrugated Plate Packing is constructed of corrugated sheets of ceramic.The angle of inclination of the corrugations of adjacent sheets is reversed with respect to the vertical column axis, form mixing cells at every point where the corrugation intersect. Owing to ceramic surface has good hydrophilic, it can enlarge to gas-liquid contacting surface area. Meanwhile, ceramic surface's microporous structure also improve wettability.In addition, ceramic excellent corrosion resistance makes Ceramic Corrugated plate packing more suitable for sulfuric acid absorption, the nitrate concentration,gas purification and so on. Ceramic high thermal stability make its operating temperature exceeds 1000 ºC.

Applications

• Rectifying organic halide.
• Rectifying and absorbing some corrosive mixtures, which are definitely regulated in pressure drop and theoretic plate number.
• Applied in some towers that contain a large quantity of natural media used to absorb concentrated sulfuric acid, as well as for purifying the air in chemical plants.
• Operating in vacuum conditions at a bottom absolute pressure of 100pa.
• Used in heat exchanger and demisting, or as a catalyst carrier.
 
1.Petrochemical industry: separation of ethylene/styrene, high-purity oxygen preparation, stacking oil separation, epoxypropane separation, debutanization tower, cyclo-hexane recovery, gaso-line fractionation, atmospheric and vacuum refining, gaso-line desulfurization, formaldehyde absorption tower, cyc-lohexane recovery tower, gaso-line fractionation tower, catalytic reforming pre fractionation tower, refinery lubricating oil type vacuum tower, refinery catalytic cracking unit stabilization tower, aromatics separation and solvent oil separation tower, depropanizing tower, and pressurized distillation tower;

2.Fertilizer industry: comprehensive gas washing tower, saturated hot water tower, am-monia recovery tower, desorption tower, shift saturated hot water tower, decarbonization tower, me-thanol distillation tower, am-monia recovery tower, washing tower, and am-monia air mixer in nitroce-llulose composite fertilizer projects;

3.Environmental protection industry: equipment such as nitrogen containing am-monia water recovery, waste ace-tone recovery, high-purity recovery of dimethylformamide, and acid wastewater stripping tower;

4.Coal chemical industry: the scrubber, desulfurization tower, debenzene tower, shift oil remover, high-pressure am-monia scrubber, water scrubber, oil removal tank, meth-anol absorption tower, water gas desulfurization tower for recovering crude benzene from coke oven gas in coking plants, as well as the stripping tower purification device in coal to urea projects;

5.Oil and gas processing: used as a filler for oil-water separators, coalescence plates, and vapor-liquid separation in three-phase or two-phase separators during crude-oil and natural-gas processing.
